Tour Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival Cairo
Cairo & Nile Cruise Tour Package upon your arrival to Cairo international airport you will find our guide waiting you holding a sign of your name with Egypttravelcc tours then he or she will accompany you to your hotel for the overnight in Cairo.
Day 2: Pyramids / Cairo Tour
Start your day by visiting The Pyramid of Khufu considered the greatest one.
It was originally 146 m (479 ft) high but now is actually 137 m (449 ft).
Was constructed by more than 2 million stone, and all with manual labor, then move to Pyramid of Khafre (Chephren) which is smaller than the Great Pyramid of Khufu (Cheops) and then visit the Pyramid of Menkaure (Mycerinus)
The Giza Pyramid of Menkaure (Mycerinus) is the smallest of the Giza Pyramids and stands just 62 m (203 ft) high (originally 66.5 m).
After that you will move to The Great Sphinx which dates from the time of Chephren human-headed lion.
Famous with the Egyptians as Abu el-Hol, the “Father of Terror.” In addition, the Greek name “Sphinx,” when translated, means “Strangler”…
Move to Valley Temple where the purification and perfection of mummification were performed on kings, move for lunch at good quality local restaurant, finally you will return to your hotel in Cairo for the overnight.
Day 3: The Egyptian Museum / Old Cairo
Start your day by visiting the Egyptian Museum, Treasures room for the child king Tutankhamen. After that you will move for lunch at local restaurant, Continue to Old Cairo to visit the Hanging Church and Ben Ezra Synagogue. Continue driving to Islamic Cairo, before boarding the sleeper train to Aswan, you will have the opportunity to shop and explore the history of Khan El Khalili Bazaar, which has been going on since 1382! While on the sleeper train, you will be served dinner and breakfast the following morning.
Day 4: Sightseeing in Aswan
One of our representatives will meet you at the station, where you depart for your Nile River Cruise in the morning. Afterwards, enjoy seeing the Aswan High Dam, the Philae Temple (dedicated to two goddesses, named Isis and Hathor), as well as the largest known obelisk from ancient times, located in the stone quarries of northern ancient Egypt. Enjoy dinner on board and spend the night in Aswan.
Day 5: Temples of Kom Ombo and Edfu
Enjoy breakfast while sailing to Kom Ombo and visit the temple of the two gods, Sobek and Haerosis. The tour then sails to Edfu, with lunch served on board, and then visit the most well preserved cult temple (Horus Temple) found in Egypt. Afternoon tea served while sailing to Esna, and dinner served on board.
Day 6: Sightseeing in Luxor
After sailing to Luxor, breakfast will be served on board. Tours then go to the West Bank, where visitors will see the royal cemetery for sixty two Pharaohs. The Valley of the Kings. The Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, built during the 15th century BC, and the El-Deir El Bahri and Colossi of Memnon are also included in this tour. Back on board the ship, lunch and dinner will be served while sailing. Spend the night in Luxor.
Day 7: Sightseeing in Luxor
Enjoy breakfast on the ship before debarking to visit Karnak and the Luxor temples on the East bank of the Nile River. After visiting the temples, the guide will help transfer you back to the Luxor Railway to board the sleeper train that goes back to Cairo, where you will eat dinner and sleep in your own private compartment.
Day 8: Return to Cairo
Breakfast served on the train prior to arriving at the Giza station. Upon arrival, you will be met by our representative who will help you transfer to a hotel for leisure time, and enjoy optional excursions while in Cairo.
Day 9: Optional Tour of Alexandria
This is the final full day, where you can spend free time or take an optional tour to Alexandria. On this tour, the Qaitbay Citadel, built in the 1500′s, is on the spot of Alexandria’s ancient lighthouse. Then see the extensive Alexandria Library. There is also a Roman cemetery cut out of rock, known as the Catacombs. Stay overnight in Cairo.
Day 10: Final Departure
Enjoy breakfast in the hotel, and spend some free time before your flight. After checkout, you will be transported to Cairo Airport to depart.
